Women in Aviation International’s network of more than 115 chapters, corporate members, and partners, hed their annual Girls in Aviation Day 2019. The Perth event, held on October 19th was organised through Qantas in conjunction with Airflite and Women in Aviation with sponsors and contributors operating multiple stations to allow the girls to learn about the range of possibilities offered by the aviation/aerospace industry.

This was all possible due to the volunteer professional women and men from a wide range of S.T.E.M. aviation streams and organisations, all of whom are passionate about encouraging young women to consider an exciting and fulfilling career in aviation.

Another great gathering with IAGSA (International Airborne Geophysical Safety Association) with members and contributors from all corners of the globe. Good to see representation from everyone including mining companies, geophysical operators, aircraft operators and supporting industries. A good turn out with ongoing commitment and improvements.
